The Clark Fork River runs through the heart of Missoula.

On March 8, 1883, Missoula became an officially incorporated town under the territory of Montana. Missoula reincorporated when Montana became a state in 1889. For more significant historical moments in Missoula's history, click here.

Missoula, MT has since grown into a community of nearly 60,000 within the city limits, with close to 100,000 residents in the broader Missoula and Bitterroot vallies. The city is home to the University of Montana and many business and non-profit organizations which bring prosperity to the region.

Missoula enjoys four seasons, with average temperatures varying from the low 20s to the upper 80s Farenheit.
